Kim A. Paradis
Kim has been an active member for the past 11 years. She has held the position of Future Pioneer group rep for the Vermont and New
Hampshire chapter. For the new Hampshire council she has been the Member at
Large Participation chair, Member at Large Fund Raising Vice President, President and past president. |

She has
chaired and or organized the following; A day at Water Country for
handicapped students,
Adopt a Spot in Dover,
Twice a year a dance for
handicapped individuals at the Great Bay training Center, Meals at Fall and
Winter Special Olympics, Tent City at the Summer Special Olympics,
Thanksgiving Baskets for
the needy in the seacoast area,
Canned hams at Easter,
Christmas stockings and
gifts at Christmas time for Dover Group Home.
Kim also volunteers at
numerous camps and state parks and with her husband Ron they regularly
volunteer at the Northwood State park a totally handicapped accessible Park.
She also helped start a
library at Rochester children’s home the only orphanage in New Hampshire.
She also demonstrates the New Hampshire Water Project to school children as
part of Homeland Security.

Kim also organizes Make A Difference day at work
and collects soup labels, pop tops, paints maps and numerous clothing and
food drives. In her spare time she sells items for the New Hampshire
Council at her work location, a Yankee Candle fund raiser and volunteers for
numerous non profit organizations by collecting money at the renaissance
fair and at Prescott park, member of a clown troop, and also maintains a
bulletin board of pioneer activities at work. She also runs the Pioneer
week at 3 locations, and is also a member of the games organizing committee
for New Hampshire Special Olympics. Kim has won the following awards,
Pioneer of the Year of New Hampshire council and received the Jean Tufts
award for volunteer of the Year from Special Olympics. |
