Current Membership

There are over 750,000 Pioneers in the United States and Canada. Across the continent, our members are improving the communities in which we all live, work, and raise our families. Pioneers represent a broad demographic. Countless numbers of men, women and children participate in or benefit from the programs and projects of Pioneers. Representing various age ranges (18 through retirement), all cultures, and all belief systems, Pioneers are united by the common desire to make a difference.

Who Is Eligible For Membership?

If you are an employee or retiree of Verizon or one of our former companies (i.e. Bell Atlantic, NYNEX, New England Telephone), you are eligible to become a member of the Jasper N. Keller Chapter.

Regular Membership

Regular members are current employees of Verizon. A person who is retired from Verizon and wishes to become a Pioneer for the first time, may apply for regular membership. Regular members pay annual dues of $15 U.S. currency

Life Membership

Life membership is immediately granted to regular members who retire from Verizon and are receiving a service pension. Regular members who otherwise leave the employment of Verizon may apply for life membership at the age of 55. Life members do not pay annual dues.

Partners

As a Pioneer, you are encouraged to involve your family members and friends in all Pioneer projects. Volunteering together brings numerous benefits to any relationship and the Pioneers work hard to provide volunteer activities conducive to family participation. Each year, Partners contribute greatly to the millions of hours of community service provided by the Pioneers.
