In 2002,
Manchester New Hampshire's Boys and Girls Club was
the host for Verizon's "Check Into Literacy" announcement in New Hampshire.
The event featured President & CEO Ivan Seidenberg and Manchester's mayor
Bob Baines reading to the children at the Club. Also, the Pioneers
presented the club with 250 new books as part of the Verizon Reads program.
