Northwood State Park, in Northwood New Hampshire, has been an EASY
ACCESS project of the Jasper N. Keller Chapter #33 TelecomPioneers for many years now.
This wooded park with pond and wetlands is excellent for nature walks.
Universally accessible trails and fishing in the fresh water pond is
available to all who visit.
The Pioneers had another clean-up day during September. With
the use of a donated wood chipper, the brush along the side of the road
didn't stand a chance. Many Pioneers and their partners turned out for a
day of hard work and good food.
(We always eat well when we work hard).
We pruned, painted and picked up the area and will continue to visit there
annually to maintain it's natural beauty.
If
you're interested in being a volunteer the next time we have a clean-up , please send an e-mail to
