Pioneers volunteer
to coordinate the acquisition, refurbishment and distribution of computers
donated from government agencies and the private sector. In many instances,
Pioneers go beyond the basic donation of hardware to provide schools with
upgraded wiring, network installation, Internet connections and computer
training.
