Heart / Recovery (Cough) Pillows are designed to give
comfort to hospital patients recovering from open heart surgery and are
distributed to local hospitals. Also for use when nurses make a patient cough to clear
lungs after abdominal or chest surgery. They are small size, soft,
protect the incision, good to hug when someone is hurting and needs to feel
better. A 'security blanket' for adults. They recommend these
pillows be used while riding in a car to slip in front of the patient with
seatbelt fastened for protection from injury to the incision.
