PLAYGROUND MAPS

Playground maps are one
of the most visible of all Pioneer programs. Featured on Good Morning,
America, these 20- by 30- foot maps are painted on school playgrounds by
Pioneers all across the U.S. and Canada. Playground maps are often
accompanied by eMaps, an interactive computer map that teaches children
about geography. Enhancing education through technology, today’s job market
is increasingly dependent upon workers with technical skills and knowledge.
Students must have access to the latest technology and have teachers and
parents who can teach them how to use it.
