TALKING BOOKS |
|
The NLS (National Library Service) is a free service to blind and physically
handicapped individuals. Talking Books replace printed books, allowing them
to experience the joy of literature and keep informed with up to date news
and information. As members of the telecommunications industry, Pioneers
have a special interest in ensuring that all people can communicate and have
access to information. We have developed an extensive network to repair
talking book machines for regional libraries across the United States and in
Canada in partnership with the CNIB, a service which saves the US government
millions of dollars every year and which helps the CNIB serve it’s clients
more effectively.
